A lil mod of the already awesome CannedSardine!

Here’s a quick (and dirty) mod of the CannedSardine to transfer it into a portable music player! Great for taking to LAN-parties and team buidling days. Basically it comes down to adding a La Fonera+ router to its power supply and connect it to the case.

I used a Fonera+ because it has an addiional LAN interface which is connected to the CS’s NIC. With the FON router there is no need for any onsite network because it creates its own! Thanks to my brother, a new firmware (Gargoyle) has been uploaded to the FON through the serial port unlocking extra features!
